Tribal Gothic

Our children speak of the time of the failure of financial system, but before that time, there were other failures.

We lived in utter defeat.
We worked in cubicles.
We drove in cubicles.
We were housed in cubicles.
We watched mesmerizing
light from boxes.

Our purpose was to support the financial system. Any thing else was either taxed by the financial system or illegal.

Humanity had been so completely undermined, no reasonable point of reference was left. Thus the present somehow seemed reasonable, even though no one believed hyper-consumption led to happiness, and it was obvious that the planet was being destroyed.

Darkness with excellent PR is still darkness.
